新しい視点と方向性
こんにちは。
しばらくぶりのブログ更新となってしまいました。
私も、2009年4月から環境ががわりと変わり、毎日慌ただしい日々を送っています。
今までは、英語教育を主たる仕事としてきましたが、一旦、教育現場から離れ、とある会社の営業マンとして毎日を過ごしています。
（まぁ、全く英語を使わない職業ではないので、英語カンは鈍りませんが）
また、英語教育に戻ってくるかもしれませんし、戻ってこないかもしれませんが、少し離れた立場から英語教育を見ることも勉強になりますし、なにしろ、現在は携わるすべての仕事が新鮮で毎日をとても充実して過ごしています。
今までにない、新しい視点やものの考え方が出来るようになり、「英語の先生」としてのみ毎日を過ごしていた時に比べ、はるかに頭が良くなっていると思います。
さて、このブログは「群馬でTOEICを教える若造のブログ」というタイトルですが、
現在の私の毎日とタイトルがかけ離れてしまっている感じは否めません。
従って、このブログは一旦、おしまい、とさせていただきます。
英語教育に戻ってきた際に、また復活するかもしれませんし、復活しないかもしれません。
もしくは、現在の環境に見合った新しいブログを始めるかもしれませんし、始めないかもしれません。
最後に、今まで、1度でも私のブログに目を通して下さった方にありがとうの気持ちを表現して終わります。

英語で、日本人が苦手なこと。
今回は、タイトルこそ違いますが、
ですが、実際は前回の続きで
「英検1級合格へのモデルスピーチ その2」です。
前回に引き続き、私が、試験前に書いた、スピーチの原稿です。
まずは、「インターネットの利点と弊害」
について書いてみました。こういったテーマなら、テレビの利点と弊害などにも応用が出来そうだと思ったからです。
インターネットの利点
1, Thanks to the Internet, our business opportunity is expanded because it expand the market. For example, 30years ago, if you had wanted to sell a certain product, it would have been difficult to sell it all over the world. Because you didn’t have a way to advertise your product to the world. But now, you can do it with the Internet.
2, The internet creates new way of expressing and communicating. The most epoch-making service based on the Internet is “blog”. We can easily express what we think to the world. And actually a lot of people, from famous actors to junior-high school students, participate in the service. Furthermore, the service has a tool to send a comment to a blog author, so through your blog, you can communicate people you haven’t know before, which sometimes makes your life richer.
インターネットの弊害
1, When think about the problems of the internet… it allows us to connect unknown and unreliable people easily. For example, please think about SNS social net working service. Once you participate in this service, you can see other members profiles, photos and diaries and you will know their age, their sex, their hometown and so on. And of course you can send message to them if you want. If you use the service properly, it may make your life richer. But it is the fact that some people use this to commit crimes such as fraud or prostitution. And actually, young people tend to involved in such crimes.

そして、さらには環境問題分野のスピーチ原稿も書いてみました。
「代替エネルギーの必要性」についてです。
どうぞ。
It is necessary for us to find other energy resources other than oil or natural gas to save our planet, the earth. There are two reasons to support this idea.
First of all, we have to think about global warming problems. As we know, according to the news, the sea level is rising year by year and in near future some countries will be under the water. Furthermore, it is said that this global warming changes flow of tide, which causes climate changes. Actually we also experienced like huge typhoon, very heavy rain and unimaginable hot day. If we don’t change our life style, the earth will be collapsed.
Secondly, we have to think about people in next generation. If the earth is very much injured, people in next generation will suffer. So we have a duty to make the earth healthy.
Therefore we have to think about alternative energy resources.

「英検1級なのに文章のクォリティ低っ！」
と思った方、
確かに、そうなんです（笑）
使っている単語は、
せいぜい、高校1年のレベル。
使っている文法・構文もあまり難しくありません。
だって、スピーチですから。
大学のレポートとは違うんですから。
そんなに難しい単語・文法は必要ありません。
シンプル。シンプル。で良いんです。
ただし、私が注意しているのは
いつも、注意しているのは、
文章の「一貫性」です。
とかくこの日本人は、英語で文章を作るときこの「一貫性」が大の苦手だそうです。
私も留学中はさんざん、注意されました＞＜

英検1級2次合格への・モデルスピーチ その1
さて、前回のブログで、英検1級の2次試験に合格するには、試験対策として行うモデルスピーチの書き方が全てと書きました。そこで、今回はそのモデルスピーチを紹介しようと思います。
私は、試験前に7つほどのモデルスピーチを用意しておいたのですが、今回はそのうちの2つを紹介します（話すことを前提に書いているので、細かい文法ミス等はスルーして下さい笑）。
まず最初は
「最近、気になること」について書いてみました
どうぞ。
What I am interested in most these days is the world financial crisis because it made me think about problems of Japanese management system. As we know, even largest Japanese companies such as Sony or Honda are laying off many employees. And government is talking about how to get over this crisis as a primary topic, even though some of their policies may not be so efficient.
So we have to rethink about Japanese management to activate Japanese economy and to get rid of this recession. First let me explain Japanese management system quickly. Now, Japanese management system is like a pyramid. At the top Boss, middle Manager, at the bottom many employees. But this model doesn’t work well under this recession because it takes lot of time to make decision. If the bottom employees find managerial problems, they can’t solve by themselves. They have to tell their manager and manager will tell president, then president will make decision. But clearly this system makes the company weaken. So such companies should change their way of management.
In conclusion, the world financial crisis is the most interesting matter for me because it gives me an opportunity to rethink about Japanese management.

「小学校での英語の導入」もしくは「国際語としての英語」に関するモデルスピーチです。
When think about introduction of English education to elementary school, basically I agree with the idea. There are two reasons to support my opinion.
First of all, English is a tool to express ourself and communicate with people in all over the world. And owing to technology, such as airplane and the internet system, the world becomes borderless year and year. So we will have a lot of opportunity to talk with foreigners and lot of opportunities to learn from foreign countries and it may be the fact that most international affairs are conducted with English. Then, if you can speak English, it will be our advantage.
Secondly, it is said that in terms of English, “the sooner, the better” I mean if you start studying English earlier, you can acquire quicker. According to my experience I went to Sydney as an exchange student but at that time I thought I should have studied English earlier.
Therefore, I think we should introduce English education to elementary school.

先程は、突然の来客で、ブログが中断しました・・・。
さて、先程のブログで、3日前くらいから、受かるための勉強を始めたと書きましたが、
受かるための勉強をしたから、受かった。
それだけの話です（このように事実だけを淡々と書くと非難を受けるかもしれませんが・・・。）
ちなみに、私が思うに、英検1級の2次試験は、多くても1週間くらい対策を練れば必ず受かります。
よく「合格者の声」に「日頃から英語の新聞を読んだり、英語で物事を考え、発表するクセをつけることが大切」などと、ありますが、はっきり申し上げると、
そこまでしなくても受かります。
（＊もちろん、日頃からそのように英語を使い、特別な対策をするでもなく、自然な流れで試験に合格するのがベストなのでしょうが）
具体的な勉強方法については、後々、ブログで書きますが、ポイントは、
モデルスピーチの書き方

受かる勉強へとつながるのです
